Drawing on research from Southern Sudan, this article (2006) explores how aid organizations construct an official version of events that fabricates clarity whilst maintaining a degree of tactical confusion. This report summarizes a two-day policy advisory group seminar on 20 and 21 April 2006 in Franschhoek, South Africa. The objective of this meeting was to assess the signing of the CPA. The seminar sought to devise policy recommendations on how South Sudan can use the opportunity of the signing of the CPA to promote peace. Download
