This paper presents findings on perceptions of Covid-19 and the Covid-19 vaccines in South Sudan. Based on focus group discussions (FGDs) with residents in both camp and non-camp settings, it found that the majority of people were aware of existence of Covid-19 and had heard about the vaccines, however there was a lack of concern about Covid-19 amongst non-camp FGD participants, differing levels of awareness on vaccines, with male participants and those living in camps having greater awareness, and women wanted more information about the vaccines in order to make decisions. The report includes a number of recommendations that would help aid actors to address information gaps and tackle misinformation and rumors.
